The Bridal Affair is led by Lisa, who has worked in the wedding industry for over 20 years. Lisa has helped hundreds of brides find the dress that feels right for them, and her approach is warm, calm and confidence-led.
Bridal shopping can be exciting, emotional and sometimes a little overwhelming. Lisa understands that every bride is different, and her role is to help you feel comfortable, supported and never rushed.
Some brides fall in love with the first dress they try. Others need time to explore different shapes, fabrics and details before they know what feels right. Both are completely normal. Lisa will guide you through the experience gently, helping you discover the gown that feels most like you.
A Private Bridal Experience
At The Bridal Affair, your bridal appointment is private and personal. You are not sharing the boutique with other brides, giving you time to enjoy the experience with the people closest to you.
During your appointment, Lisa will take time to understand your wedding plans, your venue, your style ideas and how you want to feel on the day. You can explore different silhouettes, fabrics and details, compare what feels best and enjoy the process without pressure.
Our bridal sample collection ranges from approximately bridal size 6–28, with beautiful designer gowns available from a carefully chosen selection of bridal designers. Some designers may offer smaller or larger sizes to order, but sample availability varies by dress and collection.
Curvy Bridal at The Bridal Affair
Curvy Bridal at The Bridal Affair is our dedicated plus-size bridal collection and has been part of what we offer since 2010.
This collection is especially close to Lisa’s heart. We know that some curvier brides may feel nervous about bridal shopping, especially if they have worried about whether there will be dresses to try or whether the experience will feel supportive. At The Bridal Affair, our aim is to make sure every bride feels welcomed, respected and celebrated.
Our Curvy Bridal selection begins from around bridal size 16 upwards, with sample gowns chosen for structure, comfort, support and style. Whether you are looking for romantic lace, a flattering A-line gown, a fitted silhouette, soft sleeves, sparkle, simplicity or a statement train, Lisa will help you explore dresses that make you feel confident and beautiful.
Off-the-Peg Wedding Dresses
Alongside our made-to-order bridal gowns, we also offer a dedicated Off-the-Peg collection for brides who would love a dress that is ready to take home from the boutique.
Off-the-Peg gowns can be a wonderful option for shorter wedding timescales, destination weddings, elopements or brides who simply fall in love with a gown already available in store.
Across our website, you can browse our wedding dresses using detailed filters, helping you explore styles, designers, fabrics, shapes and approximate high street sizes before booking your appointment.
As Off-the-Peg dresses are individual gowns, availability changes regularly and each dress is sold as seen.
Occasionwear, Accessories and Finishing Touches
