Which Appointment Should I Choose?
Bridal Appointment
Choose this appointment if you are looking for your wedding dress, whether you are interested in our main bridal collection, Curvy Bridal collection or plus size wedding dresses. We hold bridal samples in store from approximately bridal size 6–28, with our Curvy Bridal selection beginning from around bridal size 16 upwards.
Off-the-Peg Appointment
Choose this appointment if you are looking for a wedding dress that is ready to take home from the boutique. Our Off-the-Peg dresses can be browsed online using detailed filters, including approximate high street size, style, designer, fabric and shape.
Bridal Retry Appointment
Choose this appointment if you have already visited The Bridal Affair and would like to retry a favourite dress, compare your shortlisted gowns or make a final decision before ordering.
A Bridal Retry appointment is ideal if you need a little more time, want to bring a different guest, or simply want to feel completely confident before saying yes to your dress.
Measure Appointment
Choose this appointment if you have already chosen your wedding dress and have been asked to come in for measurements before your gown is ordered.
During your Measure Appointment, we will take the required measurements, confirm your chosen dress details and talk you through the next steps for ordering. This appointment is not a full bridal styling appointment, so if you are still choosing your dress, please book a Bridal Appointment or Bridal Retry Appointment instead.
Collection Appointment
Choose this appointment if your wedding dress, occasionwear outfit or accessories have arrived and you have been contacted to arrange collection.
During your Collection Appointment, we will have your item ready for you, confirm everything with you and talk through any final care, storage or next-step advice. If you are collecting a wedding dress, we recommend bringing the person who will be helping you store or transport your gown safely.
Occasionwear Appointment
Choose this appointment if you are looking for occasionwear, including Mother of the Bride, Mother of the Groom, wedding guest outfits, race day styles, cruise wear or special event dressing.
Accessories Appointment
Choose this appointment if you are looking for veils, jewellery, shoes or finishing touches to complete your bridal or occasionwear look.
Can’t Find a Suitable Time?
If you cannot find the time, date or appointment type you need, please get in touch. We may still be able to help arrange something suitable, including limited Monday or Sunday appointments where available.
Opening Hours
The Bridal Affair is open by appointment only.
Our normal appointment hours are:
Tuesday to Saturday: 9:00am – 6:00pm
Late Night Thursday: 12:00pm – 8:00pm
Limited appointments may occasionally be available on Mondays and Sundays. All appointments are subject to availability.
Planning Your Visit?
The Bridal Affair is based in Easingwold, near York, with free parking nearby and a relaxed market town setting.
Many brides and customers choose to make their appointment part of a special day out, with local cafés, independent shops and Easingwold’s market town charm nearby.
If you are visiting on a Friday, please allow a little extra time to arrive and park, as Market Square parking can be limited due to the weekly market.
